NDSU ENGL 320 Blog 5

I have lived in Fargo my entire life. It is the only placed I have ever lived also meaning its the only place I know really well. That being said, this blog will be slightly different from my previous blogs, as this blog will be more of an insider's guide to the fun things to do around Fargo.
Fargo is blessed with being able to have all 4 seasons of the year. We have harsh cold and snowy winters, rainy springs, hot summers, and cool dry falls. One could argue that Fargo has the best seasonal weather variety because you get a little taste of everything. Personally I wish winter only last around 2 months instead of 6 months, but I feel like thats a small price to pay.
My absolute favorite thing about the Fargo area is summer. Summer in Fargo is about as perfect as it gets in my opinion. It's sunny, the weather stays between about 70 and 90 degrees. This is perfect for spending time outside and enjoying outdoor activities including golfing, thunder road, or driving about an hour out to the lakes area. There is no shortage of fun things to do in Fargo during the summer, you just need to be open to trying new things.
There are plenty of indoor activities as well to do in Fargo. Some of these activities include trying different restaurants, going shopping, or even just catching a drink somewhere, the possibilities are truly endless. Whether you want the downtown Fargo vibe or just a chill night out in West Fargo, the dinner options are almost too many to choose from. Fargo has multiple great places to shop as well, including our mall which has stores like Best Buy and Lululemon and other large Fargo stores like Scheels all sports.
Catching a drink seems to be one of the most popular things to do in the area as well! Whether your looking to go have some beers with the boys and watch sports at one of the local sports bars or you want to get fancy cocktails for girls night out, Fargo has options for both. Overall I think Fargo, North Dakota is one of the most well rounded cities someone could live in. It has everything you need, most of what you want, and even things you've never heard of and still need to try. If you've ever thought about visiting or moving to Fargo, I would highly recommended! Just make sure to bring a winter coat!
